You begin by registering your child for an initial assessment. This you can do at the centre – Ellen Wilkinson Primary School on Saturdays during opening hours 10.00am-12noon.

We will give you an Information Pack upon registration. You can also call 020 7474 3060 or visit us at www.stmatthewsonline.org.uk to order a pack.

Assessment

Once your child is registered they will be booked in for an initial assessment. Each child will be professionally assessed so that a personal learning pathway is created. This ensures that your child is supported in the specific areas of need within their core subjects.

Subjects

The Assessment is a key part in your child’s educational program. On completion we will offer a personalized lesson plan in the core subjects:Mathematics, English, Spelling, Writing, Science and the optional Christian Studies module.

Homework

--------------------

Success in all our courses depends on regular attendance at lessons and the completion of all homework set for each child every week. We encourage Parents and Guardians to be actively involved in this area.

Ongoing Support

Our qualified Parenting Practitioners and Support Team will provide parents and carers with extra help, guidance and information suitable to their own needs. This is one of the unique features of St Matthews where tuition extends beyond the classroom.
